Welding voltage selector switch.
7 positions (fine selector switch)
3
Welding voltage selector switch.
4 positions (coarse selector switch)
4 Mode Key -
This key allows to select the following
welding modes:
•
2T – 2 stroke welding mode (manual). The wel-
ding process starts by pressing the torch trigger
and stops by releasing the same trigger. Pre-gas
Time and post-gas time are fixed.
•
4T – 4 stroke welding mode (automatic). The
welding process starts by pressing the torch trig-
ger after a pre-gas time, it continues even if trig-
ger is released and stops when this is pressed
and released once again after a post-gas time.
Pre-gas time is fixed and post-gas time lasts the
time the torch trigger is kept pressed before final
release.
•
Manual Spot Welding – the led (10) over the re-
gulation knob (6) stays on. Adjust the spot wel-
ding time by rotating the Regulation knob (6).
•
Automatic Spot Welding - the led (10) over the
regulation knob blinks. Adjust the Pause / Work
time by rotating the regulation knob (6).
5 B.B.T. (Burn Back Time) / Slope / Post Gas
Selection Key
BBT - When releasing the torch trigger the wire feeding stops earlier than the generator power. This
function allows avoiding the burning of the wire and the consequent sticking of this to the contact tip. Press
the Selection Key (5) till ammeter views the wording "BBT", by turning the potentiometer (6) clockwise/
counter-clockwise, the wire which is exiting from the torch at the end of the welding will become shorter
or longer. The voltmeter (12) views the adjusted value on a range from 0 to 99. To keep on memory the
adjustedvalue press the Mode Key (4).
Slope
- Press the Selection Key (5) till ammeter views the wording "SLP", by turning the potentiometer (6)
clockwise/counter-clockwise you will adjust the time the wire needs from the striking speed to the welding
speed. The voltmeter (12) views the adjusted value on a range from 0 to 99. To keep on memory the
adjustedvalue press the Mode Key (4).
Post Gas
- Press the Selection Key (5) till ammeter views the wording "GAS", by turning the potentio-
meter (6) clockwise/counter-clockwise, you will adjust the gas outflow time at the end of welding. The
voltmeter (12) views the adjusted time on a range from 00.0s to 03.0s. To keep on memory the adjusted
value press the Mode Key (4).
6 T1 / B.B.T. (Burn Back Time) / Slope / Post Gas Regulation Knob
According to the Mode Selection (4) and to the BBT/Slope/Post Gas Selection (5) the potentiometer allows
to set the parameters available on the generator.
7 Wire speed control knob.
8 Over temperature pilot lamp (yellow).
This pilot lamp will light if the over temperature thermostat operates. During an over temperature
condition, the output of the power source will be disabled, but the fan should continue to operate to cool
the machine. The pilot lamp will automatically extinguish after the machine has cooled sufficiently. Then,
you will be able to work again.
9 Power on led (green).
