CAUTION! All the firing-up process must be
done without the cooking grills o any other tool
or cookware inside the oven.
Remove all the cookware and grill racks from
the inside of the oven.
CUIDADO! Todo el proceso de encendido
del horno ha de realizarse sin las parrillas o
cualquier utensilio o menaje dentro del horno.
Saque todo el menaje y las parrillas del interior
del horno.
Fully open the upper and lower vents.
Abrir el tiro superior y el tiro inferior completamente.
In the HJA-20 model the lower air entry is
actuated by opening the ash drawer.
En el model HJA-20 la entrada de aire inferior

Place the firelighters in three different spots, and close the

Colocar las pastillas de encendido en tres puntos diferentes,

Wait for 25-40 min., depending on the oven. Then, close
the lower vent, and wait 10 minutes leaving the upper vent
open.
Esperar 25-40 min., dependiendo del horno. Una vez
pasado este tiempo cerrar el tiro inferior, y esperar 10
minutos dejando el tiro superior abierto.
Open the door and make sure that the charchoal is burning
well, that there is no black charchoal. With the fire poker
flatten and distribuite the charcoal evenly, leaving about
15 cm (5,9 in) of space at the back.
Abra la puerta y asegúrese de que el carbón esta bien
quemado, no queda ningún trozo negro. Con el atizador
aplanar y distribuir el carbón uniformemente, dejando
unos 15cm de espacio al fondo libres de brasa.
