Operating modes
Master Yokis mode
This is the default mode at product release. In this mode, the Yokis ecosystem takes full control of the gate elec-
tronics and the gate automation remotes are ineffective. On the contrary, functions such as timed gate closing
can be added. Furthermore, the Yokis Master mode settings can be opened and edited using the PRO and YnO
Yokis apps without needing to operate physically on the gate. All safety functions remain active.
Master FaaC mode
This method is compatible with FAAC automations made in 2018 or later only. Control is managed by the FAAC
board; gate timings are managed directly by the FAAC board. In this operation mode both FAAC and Yokis
remotes can be used to control the motor. MAU500ERP works by sending short pulses to the Open, Stop and
Close automation inputs.
Universal mode
It works independently from the "gate closed state" information coming from the gate. This mode can be used
to solve compatibility problems; MAU500ERP works by sending short pulses to the Open, Stop and Close auto-
mation inputs.
FUNCTIONS
automatic closing at start-up: this can be used to override the automatic gate when power is re-established
after a blackout (active by default).
Timed opening: it is possible to set a delay from when the gate starts opening to when it starts closing.
The delay should be set to a value equal to the sum of the gate opening time + the desired 'stay open'
time. Possible delay values range from 2 seconds to 4 hours according to annexed table.
Note: the configuration of a 16-code transmitter makes it possible to launch timed opening of a MAU.
IMPOrTaNT:
Before starting any configuration, press briefly 23 times to unlock the module. The module will lock again auto-
matically after 1 hour. It can also be locked immediately with 21 short presses.

aTTeNTION: in order to configure a MAU module by means of a Yokis transmitter, it is mandatory for the push-
button to be in the standard toggle working mode (corresponding to 10 short presses +1). This working mode
is automatically set during the pairing procedure described above.
Note: MAU module configuration is also possible by means of the installer App YOKIS PRO (see below).
