Use the printer
Use HP ePrint
To print documents using HP ePrint, complete the
following steps:
1.
On your computer or mobile device, open your
email application.
Note: For information about using the email
application on your computer or mobile
device, see the documentation provided with
the application.
2.
Create a new email message, and then attach the
file that you want to print. For a list of files that can
be printed using HP ePrint, as well as guidelines
to follow when using HP ePrint, see "HP ePrint
guidelines" on page 7.
3.
Enter the printer's email address in the "To" line of
the email message, and then select the option to
send the email message.
What's the printer's email address?
To obtain your printer's HP ePrint email
address, press the
printer control panel.
The printer prints an information page that
contains the printer's email address.
Remove Web Services
To remove Web Services, complete the following
steps:
1.
Open the EWS. For more information, see "To
open the EWS" on page 14.
2.
Click the Web Services tab, and then click
Remove Web Services in the Web Services
Settings section.

Update the printer

HP is always working to improve the performance
of its printers and bring you the latest features. If the
printer is connected to a network and Web Services
has been enabled, you can check for and install
printer updates.
To update the printer, complete the following steps:

HP ePrint guidelines
Maximum size of email and attachments:
5 MB
Maximum number of attachments: 10
Supported file types:
- PDF
- HTML
- Standard text file formats
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
- Image files, such as PNG, JPEG, TIFF,
GIF, BMP
Note: You might be able to use other
types of files with HP ePrint. However,
HP cannot guarantee that they correct
functionality with the printer because they
have not been fully tested.
3.
Click Remove Web Services.
Note: If you remove Web Services, HP ePrint
will cease to work. To use HP ePrint again, you
must set it up. For more information, see "Set up
HP ePrint" on page 6.

Open the EWS. For more information, see "Use
the embedded web server (EWS)" on
page 14.
2.
Click the Web Services tab, and then click Product
Update in the Web Services Settings section.
3.
Click Check Now and follow the onscreen
instructions.
