HELPFUL HINTS

To assemble this kit you will need to know how to make a Dutch Marine Bowline
knot. See on the picture below how this knot is made and please be sure to use
this knot for all the knots in the assembly of the Adjustable Downhaul Kit.
Following you will find the assembling
instruction; follow this carefully for optimum
ease of use of the adjustable downhaul.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach the 100cm 4mm Spectra Rope
to the top of the 244BLK with the rope
running up as shown below, this rope
will attach to the mast in the boom
opening when rigging. Make sure that
you use a Dutch Marine Bowline knot
(as shown on page 8) to attach this
rope to the 244BLK.
Attach the 140cm 4mm Spectra

Rope to the same fixed attachment
point on the 244 but then pull in
opposite direction, make sure this
is on the outside (not at the side of
the blue foam). Be sure to use a
Dutch Marine Bowline knot, make
sure the loop is not longer than the
length of the 244BLK.
