Tangential ventilator

The tangential ventilator increases the efficiency of the insert as forced air increases the heat
exchange output of the insert as well as room heating.
The ventilator is automatically operated through a thermostat when the switch is at "0" position.
When the insert reaches more than 50 °C the ventilator turns ON and only turns OFF when
the insert temperature falls above this temperature. So it is normal that the ventilator keeps
working while the insert is hot, even after the insert is not burning wood.
The ventilator plug must be connected to an electric outlet with ground connection. In case of
electrical failure, it is recommended to adjust the insert to its minimum power because high
temperatures can damage a non-working ventilator. In case of permanent electrical failure or
ventilator failure, the insert should not be use until a specialized technician repairs it.
The fan and electrical components have very specific technical characteristics. Do not
attempt to disassemble the ventilation kit or replacing components. This operation can only
be performed by a specialized technician. Never place objects within the space reserved for
the fan: it's a very sensitive component.
The electric fan is incorporated directly into the insert from IKOS and the installer will only
have to make the connection to the electric outlet.

Direct and permanent connection in the wiring of the house, should be done according to the
legislation;
