11 Disassembly
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be adhered to throughout all maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly and repair
work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Close the gas supply.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
• Disconnect the mains plug.
DANGER
Risk of burns
Risk of burns from hot coolant and hot surfaces.
• Switch off the cooling unit before starting maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly or repair work.
• Wear protective gloves.
WARNING
Risk of crushing
Upper limbs can be crushed or caught by the covering hood.
• Do not reach into the danger zone.
• Wear protective gloves.
NOTICE
• Disassembly may only be carried out by qualified personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
• Please consult the operating instructions for the welding components, such as the welding power source and the robot
control unit.
• Observe the information provided in the following section:
8 Putting out of operation on page EN-25.
Disassemble the TIG cold-wire feeder using the following procedure:
1 Disassemble the intermediate cable assembly.
2 Disassemble the cable assembly along with cold-wire feeder.

Cause
Troubleshooting
• Welding current too high
• Clean all moving parts, roll
bearings and contact tips,
replacing them if necessary.
• Wire feeder is blocked
• Work can continue once the
warning signal has disappeared
(after approx. 20 seconds).
• It is not necessary to switch off
the ABIDRIVE.
