Never block suction inlet and/or blo er outlet.

Be careful not to block suction inlet or
blo er outlet ith dust or dirt hen oper-
ating in dusty area.
Do not use nozzles other than the nozzles
provided by Makita.
Do not use the blo er to inflate balls,
rubber boat or the similar.
1 2. Do not operate the blo er near open indo , etc.
1 3. Operating the blo er only at reasonable hours
is recommended - not early in the morning or
late at night hen people might be disturbed.
1 4 . Using rakes and brooms to loosen debris
before blo ing is recommended.
1 5 . If the blo er strikes any foreign objects or
should start making any unusual noise or
vibration, immediately s itch off the blo er
to stop it. Remove the battery cartridge from
the blo er and inspect the blo er for damage
before restarting and operating the blo er. If
the blo er is damaged, ask Makita Authorized
Service Centers for repair.
1 6 . Do not insert fingers or other objects into
suction inlet or blo er outlet.
1 . Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
s itch is in the off-position before inserting
battery cartridge, picking up or carrying the
blo er. Carrying the blo er ith your finger
on the s itch or energizing the blo er that has
the s itch on invites accidents.
1 8 . Never blo dangerous materials, such as
nails, fragments of glass, or blades.
1 . Do not operate the blo er near flammable
materials.

Maintenance and storage

Battery tool use and care
Recharge only ith the charger specified by

nals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, li uid may be

tact accidentally occurs, flush ith ater. If
li uid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-

aged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries
may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in
fire, explosion or risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or

excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tem-
perature above 1 0 C may cause explosion.

charge the battery pack or tool outside the
temperature range specified in the instruc-
tions. Charging improperly or at temperatures
outside the specified range may damage the
battery and increase the risk of fire.
Electrical and battery safety
