To record an AM station — Beat Cancel
While recording an AM broadcast, beats may be heard
(which are never heard when listening to the broadcast
without recording it).
If this occurs, set the BEAT CANCEL switch on the back of
the unit to 1 or 2 to reduce the beating sound.
Dubbing Tapes

Press TAPE.

Put the source cassette in deck B, and a
recordable cassette into deck A.

Press PAUSE 8 and REC ¶ for the deck A.
PAUSE

Press PLAY 3 for the deck B.
Dubbing starts.
To stop during dubbing, press STOP/EJECT 7/0 for deck
A.

CD Direct Recording
Everything on the CD goes onto the tape in the order it is on
the CD, or according to the order you have made for Program
play.

Put a recordable cassette into deck A.

Press 0 PUSH for the disc door. Place a disc
correctly with its label side up, and press 0
PUSH again.

Press CD 3¥8, then STOP 7.

Press REC ¶ for the deck A.
Deck A starts recording and the CD player
starts playing.
To stop during CD Direct Recording, press STOP/EJECT
