Safety and operating instructions
Check air pressure:
• The product is designed for a working pressure (e) of 6–7 bar = 600–700
kPa = 87–102 psig.
• The air pressure at the tool inlet with the product running must not exceed
the maximum operating pressure 7.
• Blow out the hose before connecting it.

Wheel guard usage
• Always use the recommended wheel guard and check that it is not damaged
to reduce of risk of injury from broken grinding wheel parts
• If a guard has withstood a wheel breakage do not continue to use it. It may
be damaged
• Position the guard between the grinding wheel and the operator
• Use barriers to protect others from wheel fragments and grinding sparks

The maximum permissible speed as marked on the machine must not be

Testing of the grinder should only be carried out by professional technicians.
The technicians must be authorized to test this type of tool and to operate a
pneumatic system in accordance with national directives.
• The free speed of the machine shall be checked every day and whenever the
machine has been serviced. This check should be carried out with the grind-
ing equipment detached
• Use a pressure regulator to avoid excessive air pressure which may cause
overspeed
