MIN T-FLOW
Minimum circuit flow temperature.
T-FROST PROT
Outside temperature triggering frost protection.
If the outside temperature drops below the temperature set for this
parameter, the frost protection feature is then initiated.
OUT-TEMP-DEL
Delay from the heating controller in reading the outdoor sensor AF (for
well-insulated buildings only).
SLOPE OFFSET
Difference between the boiler temperature and the flow temperature in
mixer circuits.
The set value offsets the heat losses and sensor tolerances up to the
boiler temperature value, over the required temperature at the mixer circuit
flow side.
B-HEAT SINK
The heating circuit can be used as heat sink to prevent boiler overheating.
This is only used with the heating ON and establishes the maximum flow
temperature.
I-CONTROL
If there is a temperature deviation of 1K in the value set under this parameter,
the flow temperature is increased up to the ROOMS-INFL value.
3.10 System protection features
FROST PROTECTION
The frost protection feature is established in the following assumptions:
Outside temperature below the limit set under the EXPERT>CIRCUIT >T-
FROST PROT parameter (pumps and boiler power-up).
Boiler temperature below 5ºC (boiler switches ON at its minimum
temperature established under MIN T-BOILER).
Room temperature below 5ºC (pumps and boiler switch on).
SELF-CHECK
Every 10 minutes, the heating controller carries out an automatic self-
check to ascertain whether all the parameters are within the specified
limits. If a an anomalous parameter is found, the system locks out (fault
code 81).
DELAYED PUMP SWITCH-OFF
In the case of a pump switch-off, this will continue running for 5 minutes if
one of the boilers has been operating for the last 5 minutes.
PUMP SEIZURE PROTECTION
The heating controller will switch on those pumps that have been idle for
the past 24 hours, every day at 12:00h for 3 seconds.
MIXING VALVE SEIZURE PROTECTION
If the mixing valve has not operated for 24 hours, it is fully open at 3:00h.
The pump will stop running during this operation and the maximum setpoint
temperature is established.
