7) The suction/discharge valve is not permitted to connect to thread of pump head with PTFE
tape; make sure that the internal of discharge valve and suction valve is clean.
8) The lubricating grease should be replaced at least every year, we recommend the following

9) The discharge line shall be bigger than the suction line in terms of pressure; otherwise, the
siphonage will happen.
10) We strongly recommend you to equip safety valve and pulse damper. Check if the pipeline
connection, installation and support are right and firm. The pump is unable to burden the pipeline
weight; check if the check valve, safety valve and Y-shape filter are installed correctly; the pulse
damper should be fixed with support; check if the center point of pump is correct after connecting
pump with pipeline, if it is deviated, please adjust it;
11) Calibration of flow rate: due to actual working conditions, the actual flow rate is different from
the rated flow rate, which is normal. In order to ensure accurate flow rate, you can calibrate by
decrease amount of chemical tank at the specified time and record the calibration result. During
normal operation, you can set the pump by percentage in accordance with the calibration result;
12) Operation test: start the pump without load and check if the voltage, current and operation of
pump ( rotation speed of motor, start-up current, motor temperature, leakage and vibration and
noise of pump);
13) Taking tests at rated load to check whether the pump works well and record important
information including pressure, motor rotation speed, noise and vibration as well as leakage and
take corresponding measures.
14) If the pump will stop operation for long time, you need to adjust it at its maximum flow rate and
lock the adjustment rod.
