never need to change the black activation chip. The black activation chip is not for use with Accu‑Chek
Inform II test strips. If you are using Accu‑Chek Inform II test strips, remove the black activation chip and
discard it. See the Accu‑Chek Inform II test strip package insert for instructions on coding the meter.
