10.2. GENERAL CLEANING OF THE MACHINE
Every week give an overall clean to the machine,
using solvent and a brush or a spatula if especially
stubborn layers of paint have deposited.
Periodically check that the safety devices are
functional and undamaged.
Any incrustations must be removed from the drains
and control valves regularly.
10.3. CLEANING OF THE SPRAY-JETS
Every 3 weeks, clean and drain off the spray-jets
placed inside the automatic washing tank then
proceed as follows:
- Unscrew all the washing nozzles from the relative
pipes.
- Fully immerse the nozzles soiled with paint in a
basin full of solvent and leave to soak for 1 hour.
- In the meantime run an empty wash cycle for
approx. 1 minute, this must be done without the
nozzles on the spider so as to clean the pipes of
the 4 nozzles from any paint deposits.
- After the nozzles have soaked for an hour in the
solvent use the air gun to blow the washing
nozzles from the outside (fluid exit side) inwards.
- Screw the spraying nozzles into the related
tubes.
10.4. CLEANING INSIDE THE AUTOMATIC WAS-
HING TANK
To make easy cleaning inside the automatic
washing tank, you can completely remove the
washing spray-jet device by unscrewing the
central fixing nut (No24).
11.1. EXPECTED USE
The COMPACT 235 machine is a completely
pneumatic system that is used for the manual
washing of parts that are dirtied with water-ba-
sed or solvent-based paint.
The COMPACT 235 machine is intended for use
by qualified staff.
By the term "qualified", one means staff that have
been instructed and trained by the employer on
the use of the machine and the risks that this use
may incur (Art. 22, Paragraph VI,Title III of Legis-
lative Decree 626/94 on the obligation of staff
training when introducing new working systems).
In particular, the users must also be instructed
based on this user and maintenance manual and
the machine must only be used for the production
for which it is suited, as indicated in the manual.
10.5. CLEANING SUCTION FILTERS
Every 2 weeks, clean the suction filter present on
the suction pipe of the machine then proceed as
follows:
- Unscrew the suction filter from the relative pipes.
- Fully immerse the filter (soiled with paint) in a
basin full of solvent and leave to soak for 1 hour.
- After soaking for 1 hour, use the air gun to blow
the filter.
- Screw the suction filters onto the relative pipes.
10.6. FILTER REPLACEMENT "PAINT STOP"
When the "Paitn Stop" filter does occur particular-
ly smeared with paint , replace it with a new filter
characteristics and similar size.
10.7. REPLACEMENT BRUSH HEAD
Every 4-6 months, verify the integrity of the brush
head and in case it occurs damaged and unusa-
ble, unscrew the head and replace it with a new
replacement of the same type.
10.8. DRAIN FILTER REGULATOR
The filter assembly of the pressure regulator, filter
the presence of water at supply pneumatic. Empt-
ying short occurs automatically whenever you off
the air supply fast grafting machine.
It is possible still force the emptying by pressing
the metal pin in place on the bottom of the filter
bowl the pressure regulator.
Not groped to unscrew or remove the glass.
11. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
These obligations are also required for the opera-
tors involved in the transport, installation, mainte-
nance and dismantling of the machine, each
dedicated to his own competences.
Given that this is a complex machine and its use
is only allowed by instructed and trained staff,
access to the area belonging to the system is
forbidden to those who have not received the
necessary training by the employer.
11.2. WARNING PICTOGRAM
The warnings, legal obligations and the prohibi-
tions, which must be followed in order to operate
safely and to prevent accidents, are shown on
the adhesive labels applied to the COMPACT
235 machine.
