2.2.1 Measurement

When performing measurements, it must be
ensured that the T500 is guided
parallel
not tilted and
(for measurements on cylindrical sur-
faces) axially
with respect to the workpiece.
Only then must the measuring run be started
by pressing the start key.

Important:
Treat the pick-up carefully and
place it gently on the workpiece,
otherwise the diamond stylus may
be damaged!
Move the pick-up to parking posi-
tion before transporting the unit
(refer to Chapter 2.3.5).
