Changing User Settings
Select the option you would like to change on the User
Settings screen and follow the on-screen instructions.
•
When you change your Nintendo Network ID
information on the Wii U system, information for the
same ID on a system in the Nintendo 3DS family will
also change.
•
When you delete a Nintendo Network ID, information
such as your Nintendo eShop balance will also be deleted and you will no longer be able to
use that ID on another system. For more information, refer to Additional User Information
in the Health and Safety application available on the Wii U Menu.
Adding/Switching Users
If more than one person will be using the Wii U system,
you can add additional users. From the User Settings
screen, tap Switch User and then follow the on-screen
instructions.

You can have a maximum of 12 users on a single Wii U
console.
•
You can also add users from the User Selection screen
that appears after you turn the power by pressing
the Wii U console.
