5. Ensure that the device is de-energised
Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages
When the central inverter is shut down using the On/Off switch, voltage is
still present at the AC and DC connections and in the internal control
system. After shutting down the system using the On/Off switch, the
capacitors of the central inverter may still carry a residual charge. Residual
voltages inside the device can result in fatal surges.
Open all external disconnectors and secure them against being switched
back on
After de-energising the device, always wait for an additional 15 minutes
before touching any components
Check that the device is de-energised using a measuring instrument, in
accordance with applicable guidelines. The measuring instrument used
must be approved for at least protection class CAT II 1000 V or CAT III
600 V (in accordance with IEC EN 61010-1).
6. Open internal circuit breakers
7. Carry out a visual inspection
Recommendation:
Have the manufacturer's service centre carry out the following steps.
8. Record traces of water and scorch marks
9. Record the current condition photographically (loose, faulty parts,
overvoltage protection, etc.)
10.Open the control cabinet
11.Record the current condition
12.Close and lock the control cabinet and the front door
■
The fault has been recorded.

Waiting times
When analysing a fault, note the switch-on delay of the central inverter.
There is a waiting time of a few minutes when switching on following grid
faults. The exact time depends on the standard. If the device is switched off
due to insufficient input power and the solar generator voltage then rises
back above the switch-on threshold, the switch-on delay will be about ten
minutes.

Manufacturer's service centre
In the event of a fault, contact the manufacturer (contact details on the
back of the manual).
To allow the manufacturer to respond quickly and appropriately, please
provide the following details:
Invoice number (or delivery note number, if applicable)
Serial number of the inverter
Serial number of the display
A brief description of the fault and a fault report
What does the fault message shown by the LED indicators look like?
What messages and fault codes are in the display's logbook?
Is the fault reproducible?
