4. Turn the palm of your left hand upwards
and position the edge of the armband about
2-3 cm above the inside of your elbow.
5. If the Index line falls within the OK
interval, shown on the upper edge of
the armband, then this armband is
suitable for you. If, on the other hand,
the "index" line is situated outside the OK
interval, you may require a special arm-
band.
Taking a measurement
1. Press the memory selection button to choose the archive in which you wish to store the
reading.
2. Press the ON/OFF/START button. The entire display will be shown for about two seconds
before returning to "0".
3. The unit will automatically start inflating the
armband to measure your blood pressure.
During inflation the display will show a variable
reading of the pressure inside the armband. It
is very important to remain still and
quiet during measurement. The slight-
est movement could result in an inaccu-
rate measurement.
4. When the measurement is complete, the sys-
tolic and diastolic pressure and pulse rate will
be shown simultaneously and automatically
saved in the chosen archive. Each of the two
memory archives can store up to 50 measurements.
5. Press the ON/OFF/START button to switch the unit off. If no button is pressed, the unit will
turn itself off automatically after 1 minute.
6. To interrupt the measurement, press any button. The armband will deflate automatically.
