This appliance is designed for domestic and
not industrial use.
Use the appliance for processing normal
quantities of food for domestic use.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
Please keep the Instructions for Use in a safe
place.
If passing on the appliance to a third party, always
include the operating instructions.

Safety Information

Risk of injury
Connect and operate the appliance only in
accordance with the specifications on the rating
plate.
The appliance is not intended to be operated
by means of an external Timer or separate
remote-control system.
Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Supervise children to prevent them from playing
with the appliance.
Do not allow persons (also children) with
restricted physical
mental abilities or with lack of experience and
knowledge to operate the appliance unless
they are supervised or have been instructed in
the use of the appliance by somebody who is
responsible for their safety.
Always pull out the mains plug after using the
appliance, before cleaning the appliance, before
leaving the room or if a fault occurs.
Do not place the power cord over sharp edges or
hot surfaces.
To prevent injury, a damaged power cord must
be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer
service or a similarly qualified person. Only our
customer service may repair the appliance.
Make out-of-service appliances unusable.
Blade is very sharp. After switching off, the drive
continues for a short time. After work, set cutting
width to 0.
Do not operate the appliance without the carriage
and "sausage end" holder.
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean
thoroughly. Do not immerse the appliance in
water or clean under running water.
The appliance may be used for cutting
unfrozen food only! Do not cut bones!
Risk of electric shock!
Do not use the appliance near a sink filled with
water!

Warning! Motor may overheat!
After a maximum 5 minutes of continuous use,
switch OFF the appliance and allow to cool
down.

• Assemble the carriage, insert at an angle from
the right into the side guide groove and place on
the table.

• Adjust the cutting width with the knob.

• Press switch-on safety device, then
• Press the On button. Switch-on safety device
can now be released.
If you stop pressing the On button, the appliance
switches off.
Risk of injury from the sharp blade
When the appliance has been switched OFF,
the blade continues rotating briefly. Never place
hands near the blade.

• Attach the remnants holder, cut.
Always use the carriage and remnants
holder!
Tip: Cut sausage and cheese first and bread last.
The appliance is then easier to clean.

• After using the appliance and immediately
cleaning it, fold up the appliance.

• Wind up the cable and lock the plug into
position. Keep the appliance out of the reach of
children.
Cleaning
Pull out the mains plug and set stop plate
to 0.
Risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the appliance in water or hold
under flowing water.
Risk of injury from the sharp blade
Before cleaning the appliance, pull out the mains
plug and remove the blade. Do NOT grip the
blade by the cutting surface, but by the blade
attachment.
