The common range of use of a two-wheeler is between -10°C and +50°C. Within this
temperature window the viscosity of the oil changes 60 times. In order to ensure uniform
lubrication of the chain, the current outside temperature is measured in the control unit
and the oil flow is automatically adjusted. An adjustment of the oil used is not necessary.

We recommend to use the oil specially provided and tested by BEROTEC. In principle,
the use of other oils is possible. So-called „organic oils" or salad oils should be avoided.
These have a tendency to resinify and can clog the system, especially if it is left stan-
ding for a long time. Solvent-containing substances and water must not be added.
Viscosity recommendation:
Viscosity /40°C / ASTM D 7042 : 100 mm²/s
Viscosity index / ASTM D 2270 : 135

I n s t a l l a t i o n l o c a t i o n
Ensure that no part of the system is installed near hot components such as the exhaust
or engine casing. Under the pillion seat there is often enough storage space for installa-
tion. For an overview of the construction of the system, please refer to page 13.
