DETAILED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
The following safety and operating instructions must be read before operating the appliance and kept
in case of future enquiries. All the userʼs instructions and guidelines established in the manual must be
followed.
The appliance should be installed in such a way and position that the air inlet and outlet through the
top cannot be interrupted. The appliance must be installed within walls allowing airflow around the unit.
The unit must be placed far from heat sources such as: radiators, heaters and other appliances
generating heat. This appliance must be connected to the electrical power supply indicated in these
instructions or on the adhesive label stuck on it.
This unit must be only connected to an earth wire socket. Check if the socket works.
It must be placed to avoid being stepped, pierced or damaged by any object near it.
The waste disposer must be cleaned with a damp cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. Do not
employ cleaning products with solvents or acids.
When long non-use periods are expected, disconnect the plug from the socket. Take special care of
turning off the stopcock allowing the water supply to the lavatory cistern and empty the cistern before
switching off the waste disposer.
Do not let in any sort of foreign objects that the unit does not accept such as: sanitary towels, tampon,
condoms, cotton, cotton buds, scouring pads, sponges, hairs, food waste, plastic bags, nappies, paper
towels, etc. Stick the adhesive label provided on a visible place near the appliance.
Damages that require technical support such as: Damage in the power supply cable, appliance work-
ing inadequately or differently, must be repaired by qualified professionals.
Except otherwise stated in this manual, all maintenance and repairing operations must be carried out
by qualified staff unless otherwise specifically stated in this manual.
