1.1. SYMBOLS USED
This symbol is used to call the operator's attention to important warnings regarding safety,
especially for the patient.
This symbol is used to call the operator's attention to important information of a general character.
1.2. WARNINGS
The manual is the property of ME.BER. Its reproduction in whole or in part, and its transmission to third parties by any
mechanical means, electronic or otherwise, without the written authorization of the manufacturer, is forbidden.
It is supplied in a single original copy, unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering. It is the purchaser's responsibility to make
it available to all relevant persons.
The manual is delivered with the stretcher, of which it constitutes an integral part, and must accompany the stretcher even when it
is sold or disposed of. It must be stored in a safe place and not placed on the market until the stretcher itself is demolished. If the
manual is lost a duplicate should be requested from ME.BER., which will supply it and charge the cost.
ME.BER. declines all responsibility for any damage to persons or property resulting from the failure to observe the instructions
contained in this manual.
ME.BER. reserves the right to introduce, at any time and without prior notice, any technical and/or commercial modifications it
considers useful. Therefore the data and information herein may be subject to modification and/or updating.
1.3. ORGANIZATION AND USE OF THE MANUAL
The manual is organized in a way that enables the operator to find any necessary information easily and quickly. The manual c overs
all subjects considered necessary and sufficient for the safe use of the stretcher, in particular those that are obligatory and
recommended by the European Directives, especially those regarding the security aspects.
It is therefore recommended that all authorized operators of the stretcher read carefully all parts of the manual, and follow its advice
scrupulously. In cases of doubt, clarification should be requested from the manufacturer.
The manual should also be used as a reference document whenever it is necessary to recall a procedure or operation.
The manufacturer thanks the purchaser in advance for any observations or comments intended to improve the form and/or the
comprehension of the manual.
For editorial reasons, the figures and drawings may diverge slightly from the reality, but without giving rise to any possibility of
misunderstanding.
In the manual the terms "stretcher" and "product" are both used to indicate the subject of the manual, and they should be considered
equivalent.
The appropriate symbol in bold characters draw the reader's attention to especially important information, particularly regarding
security.
The index of revision can be found on the lower right of every page.

The terms and the conditions of the guarantee are as set out in the following points, unless otherwise specified in the confi rmation of
the order.
1.4.1. SUBJECT OF THE GUARANTEE
