For heavier users and users who need assistance with turning in bed.
Being confined to a lying position for a long period is a strain on the body and soul. It gets even worse if pressure sores
develop. With the help of a frequent turning schedule and TurnSheet, life becomes much easier both for the user and for
the caregiver.
TurnSheet is made of microfiber and Handicare's own sophisticated sliding material ULF (Ultra Low Friction) with a thin
padding of polyester.
TurnSheet lies on top of Mattress cover with smooth, low friction material in the centre and rough anti-slip surfaces at
the sides. This minimizes the risk of the user sliding out of bed.
Check Safety
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the assistive device regularly. Always inspect the product after laundering. Check to
ensure that seams and material are free from damage. Check to ensure that fabric is not worn or faded. If there are signs
of wear, the product must be discarded.
Friction test
Low friction - Ensure that the surface is smooth and slides effortlessly.

Important information
Be aware that there is a risk of the user sliding out of bed. Take care to ensure that the
mattress is sufficiently wide, so that there is anti-slip material on both edges of the mattress
cover. Do not leave the user unattended without first raising the bed rails.
