- OUT 1 direction contact first (2) then (1): this relay will activate for about 1 second each time a vehicle is detected first by
the second device and then by the coil connected to LD3.
- OUT 2 direction contact (PRESENT): this relay will activate and remain activated for the entire time the vehicle remains
over the coil. During this activation period the 'present' led will remain lit.
- OUT 3 direction contact first (1) then (2): this relay will activate for about 1 second each time a vehicle is detected first by
the coil and then by the secondary device connected to INPUT SIGNAL.
The distance between the two coils (or coil and photocell) and the detection times must guarantee a presence of at
least 300 ms in the sphere of both devices.
TUNING.
When the detector LD3 is connected to the power supply, it automatically tunes in the inductive coil with its external
environment. The tuning-in stage is shown by blinking of 1 led, indicating sensitisation. Upon completion of the tuning-in
operation, sensitivity level led remains lit.
If the 4 SENS leds activate (continuously lit) when you connect the power supply, check that the coil is not interrupted or
incorrectly connected wired..

SENSITIVITY
Upon completion of tuning, the degree of detector sensitivity may be selected from among 4 levels by pressing the CONTROL
SENS button.
These levels are shown by one of the 4 SENS leds coming on, see drawing in fig. E.
Note that the sensitivity also depends on the shape and the number of turns of the coil.
FREQUENCY
It is possible to set the work frequency for the inductive coil detector.
This option is useful where you have 2 detectors and two coils installed close together.
Changing the frequency of one of the two detectors will avoid disturbance.
If you are only using one detector we advise you to use the highest frequency setting (no jumper inserted).
We advise you to always install a trial coil before embedding to make sure that the installation works to your requirements.
