► Position the orthosis on the leg in such a way that the orthotic joints are aligned at the height
of the middle of the patella; alternatively, adjust them in the compromise pivot point according
to Nietert.
5.5 Removal
► To take off the orthosis, open the straps and pads without taking off the splints. This prevents
ongoing readjustment.
6 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.

Clean the orthosis regularly:
Pads
1) Remove the pads from the orthosis.
2) Wash the pads by hand in warm water at 30 °C with standard mild detergent. Rinse thor­
oughly. Do not use fabric softener.
3) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
4) Reattach the pads to the orthosis.
7 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
