Assembling example
HALFEN HSC-B Concrete steel con-
nection with 2x4 HSC-B SH single
headed female bars fi tted to a steel
beam or a steel corbel to a rein-
forced concrete column
1. Check the hole layout of the position-
ing and front plate before installing.
2. Replace the thread
protection cap.
3. Assembly of the connection – HSC-B SH single headed female
bars are fi xed with fl at headed
screws to the positioning plate.
Layout and position are according
to the engineer's specifi cation.
4. Stud heads can be aligned horizon-
tally or vertically. The engineer's
specifi cations have to be observed.

5. Cut and fi t self adhesive sealin
tape to form a recess in the con-
crete at the connection location.
When used with steel formwork a
magnet is placed in the middle of
the positioning plate.
This type of assembly requires no
formwork penetration. The positio-
ning plate is not fl ush with the form-
work.
Bolts:
- metric ISO external thread
and tolerance grade 6h
acc. to DIN 13-1
- hot-dip galvanized bolts with
marking "U" after steel grade
marking eg. "8.8 U"
