6. ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE

Th e appliance is assembled at the factory except for the feet and the grid for keeping food warm. Th ese parts should be

assembled as follows:
1. Screw the levelling feet to the plancha
griddle and secure them with the bolts

PRECAUTIONS WHEN CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE TO A GAS CYLINDER

Th is appliance uses liquefi ed petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.
Gas cylinders must be installed, transported and stored in an upright position.
Make sure that the gas input from the cylinder is closed.
40 Connect the regulator to the fl exible gas pipe and then the pipe to the gas input of the appliance, using the appropriate
tools, so that the tube is not subjected to excessive stretching or twisting.
Replace the fl exible gas pipe in compliance with national regulations.
Th e pipe should not be longer than 1,5 m. and should be suitable for the type of gas and pressure supplied by the regulator.
Th e pressure of the gas supply from the regulator to the griddle should be 28/30 mbar for butane gas and 37 mbar for propane gas.
Th e cylinder should be changed at a safe distance from any fl ame source.
Check for gas leaks by brushing a liquid detergent and water solution over the connection between the fl exible gas pipe, the
regulator and the cylinder. In the event of a leak, turn off the gas supply.
