Lumbaforte
Intended purpose
The protect.Lumbaforte is a lumbar
support. The product is exclusively to be
used for the orthotic fitting of the lower
back and only on intact skin.
Indications
• Myostatic, muscular insufficiency
• Irritation of the small invertebral joints
• Symphysiolysis
• Ligament damage
• Support following discectomy
• Pain at the lumbosacral junction
Contraindications
None known to date
Mode of action
It appreciably reduces the load on the
lumbar spine and assists the back
muscles, relieving low back pain and
muscle spasm.

Only by wearing the protect.Lumbaforte
consequently as directed will you
benefit from the therapy. Unless
otherwise directed by your doctor, do
not wear the support for more than 8
hours at a time. After a break of approx.
2 hours it may then be put on again.
Applying the support
• Wrap the support around the body and
put your fingers in the loop on the
fastener (fig. 1).
• Press the left side of the fastener on
your abdomen. Put the right side over
the left to and secure it (fig. 2).
• The support should be pulled down
until the lower edge is just above the
groin (fig.3). Always wear the support
under your clothes.
Care instructions
Velcro fasteners should be closed for
washing. Soap residues, lotions and
ointments can cause skin irritation and
material wear.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using a medi clean detergent, or in
delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild
detergent without fabric conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    
Storage instructions
Store in a dry place at room
temperature. Protect from heat, direct
sunlight and moisture.

intended. Please also refer to the
corresponding safety information and
instructions in this manual.
Disposal
The product can be disposed of in the
domestic waste.
