may be used with care, however, the marked electrical rating should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord
should not be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Use the lid handle to lift the top lid to the open position.
Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket (220-240 V ~ 50 Hz). The
Red light will illuminate. Close the lid.
While preheating, prepare mini cupcake batter.
After approximately 2 to 3 minutes the Green light will illuminate
indicating the unit is preheated and is ready for use.
If mini cupcake liners are not used, for the best results, use a non-
stick cooking spray to lightly coat the non-stick plates before cooking. This will
assist in the removal of the cupcakes after cooking.
Note: Using no liners will produce a crispier, browner cupcake outside.
Mini cupcake liners may be used to ease cleanup and present a more
professional looking cupcake. When using cupcake liners, place 7 liners on
the plate. Spray all of the liners before filling.
Recipes may vary in cook time and brownness; batters with more
sugar will brown quicker. Note the perfect bake times for each batter recipe for
future use.
When the mini cupcake maker is preheated, following the recipe,
fill each of the cupcake moulds on the lower cooking plate to almost full-use
between 1 rounded teaspoon to a scant tablespoon of batter. Runnier batters
will require more batter. When using liners, place the pre-filled, oiled cupcake
liners into the heated lower cooking plate.
Note: Do not overfill, batter will expand when cooked
Use the handle to lower to the top lid and close the cupcake maker,
allow to cook for approximately 10-15 minutes or until done.
Note: Check if ready by inserting a dry toothpick into the centre of the
cupcake. If it comes out dry, the cupcakes are ready.
If necessary, cover and continue cooking for 30 seconds at a time until
cupcakes are browned and cooked to your liking.
The Green light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains baking
temperatures,
Wearing oven mitts, wipe the outside with a clean paper towel or
cleaning cloth if necessary.
At the end of the cooking time, use the handle to lift the top lid.
Wearing oven mitts, remove mini cupcakes from the cooking plate
using non-metallic utensil. A small plastic spoon will help to remove the mini
cupcakes.
Note: If additional mini cupcakes are to be baked, keep the cupcake maker
closed to retain heat.
Note: Mini cupcakes made later may bake faster because extra heat has
been retained, It may be necessary to adjust to a shorter cooking time to
accommodate.
When baking is complete, unplug the power cord from the socket, Lift
