water fi lter system! Thank you for choosing BRITA quality
for great tasting BRITA fi ltered water.
BRITA fi ltered water improves taste of hot and cold drinks
and is economical and convenient. Filtered water is ideal
for bringing out the full potential of your food as water is
a fundamental part of food preparation, infl uencing the
results of your home cooking.
To ensure that you will get the best results from your
new BRITA On Tap water fi lter system, please follow the
instructions carefully before fi tting it to your tap.

Important notes

3.1 Before installation

• The BRITA On Tap water fi lter system must not be
attached to a tap connected to a low-pressure water
heater (see warning notice I on the inside cover of this
brochure).
• Do not use any tools when installing the BRITA On Tap
water fi lter (see warning notice II on the inside cover of
this brochure).
• The BRITA On Tap water fi lter system is supplied pre-
assembled. It is not necessary to unscrew the diverter
(A) and the housing (B) to operate the water fi lter (see
Fig. 2A). If you do wish to unscrew these parts, please
do so properly without using force. Please refer to sec-
tion 9. "Removing the housing" for details.
3.2 Ideal use
• Do not disconnect the BRITA On Tap water fi lter system
while running water through the fi lter.
• Clean the outside of the BRITA On Tap water fi lter
system with a damp sponge and mild washing-up liquid.
Abrasive cleaners, detergents or chrome polish may
mark the fi nish.
• Do not put the BRITA On Tap water fi lter system or any
of its parts in the dishwasher.
• Should the BRITA On Tap water fi lter system require
repairs or servicing, do not attempt to disassemble the
unit. Please contact the BRITA Customer Service in your
country.

please see the following sections of the instructions
for use.
