incorrect flue, incorrect burner setting or
bad quality fuel. Excessive sooting can be
diagnosed if heater has rough starts. Ac-
cess to exchanger is made via two access
doors (one via air outlet, the other after
removal of the body panel opposite to the
burner). Access to combustion chamber
require removal of burner. Soot and de-
bris can be removed with a vacuum clea-
ner.
CLEANING OF VENTILATOR
Clean ventilator with compressed air after
removal of aspiration grilles.
CLEANING THE BURNER
Please revert to your authorized dealer for
this operation which must be carried out
in strict accordance with the burner manu-
facturer recommendations.
►►7. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Heater doesn't start
Thermal relay RT cuts in
(Warning lamp (9 Fig. 1) lights
up)
Thermostat TS cuts in
(Warning lamp (8 Fig. 1) lights up)
Burner motor starts but doesn't
ignite
Ventilator doesn't start or starts
late
Noise and vibrations from
ventilators
Insufficient heat
REASON
1. Faulty electrical supply
2. Room thermostat cuts in
3. Wrong setting of eventual room thermostat
Fan motor current absorption excessive
Excessive combustion chamber over heating
Bad functioning of burner
1.No electrical current
2.TV thermostat out of order
3.Motor winding faulty
4.Burned out condenser
5.Blocked motor bearings
1.Dirt or foreign particles of fan blades
2.Restricted air circulation
1.Wrong burner settings
►►6. TRANSPORTING AND MO-
VING YOUR HEATER
Heater must be moved by using the front
handlebar and rolling the heater on its
wheels. These heaters can be suspen-
ded with chains or ropes using the 4-eye
bolts fitted on top of heater. Before pro-
ceeding to such an installation make sure
that suspension points of your building
are sufficently strong to support weight of
the heater as indicated on manufacturer
model plate.
WARNING: Before moving your
heater it must be stopped accor-
ding to instruction and unplug-
ged. Never move a heater while
hot. Do not attempt to lift or move
your heater without adequate ma-
chinerys serious physical injuries
may occur.
1.Check function and positioning of main switch
1.Check power cord
1.Check electrical connections
1.Check fuses
1.Put main switch in correct position
2.See instruction relative to room thermostat.
2.Check oil flow
2. Make sure no additional air ducts restrict air flow
2. Remove dirt or foreign particles from air outlet, grilles,
louvres or ducts
3.Check positioning of thermostat and correct
3.Check if thermostat is functioning properly
Heater with axel ventilation: remove eventual debris
preventing free flow of air on intake and outlet. Check
length of air ducts, recluce if excessive.
Heater with centrifugal ventilator: check setting of
transmission belt as indicated in chapter "CONNECTION
TO HOT AIR DUCTS".
Always check that current absorption remains below value
indicated on motor manufacturer plate.
Check as indicated above. If fault persists contact our
service center
