Note:
• If the dog is deaf or hearing-impaired, he may not react to the Outdoor Bark Control.
• In some situations dogs become insensitive to ultrasounds. To avoid this, turn off the Outdoor Bark Control
when you do not need it.
• Operating Environment: 0 to 45 degrees Celsius / 32 to 113 Fahrenheit
Caution: humans cannot hear ultrasounds, however some precautions must be taken when installing the device
before use.
Keep the device at arm's length to move it away from your ear to avoid auditory damage if a dog begins
to bark while you are setting up, mounting or installing the device.
It is also preferable that people avoid being very close to the device when it is on.
The device must not be used by children.
This device is only reserved for a use with dogs. Do not try to use it for another use than the one
described in this user's guide.
Power
• Works with 4 LR14, 1.5V type «C» batteries. Batteries are not supplied.
Maintenance
• Remove the battery before cleaning.
• Clean the Outdoor Bark Control with a wet cloth.
• Do not use any chemical product or solvant to clean the device.
• Do not immerse the system into the water or any other liquid.
Note: the Outdoor Bark Control is showerproof. However, if water comes into the microphone, the functioning of
the unit may be damaged. Once the microphone is dry, it will work properly again.
READ CAREFULLY ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE DEVICE.
Settings - 5 positions
OFF – To save battery
TEST – To check that the microphone and loudspeaker are working properly.
1 – Barking detection up to 5m
2 – Barking detection up to 10m
3 – Barking detection up to 15m
NOTE: take care that the device is turned off when you do not use it.
How to insert and remove batteries
WARNING
: ALWAYS activate the OFF position when you insert or remove batteries.
The device is designed to work with 4 LR14, 1,5V type ''C'' batteries.
Make the foot swiveling to the right to open the battery cover and insert the batteries by paying attention
to the polarity.
Then press and make the foot swiveling to the left to close the battery cover.
Installation
The device must be placed in front of the dog and within reach of the dog's barks, or at a level always lower than
1,5m. To get the best results, the zone between the device and the dog must not contain any obstacle of big
height.
A double function handle:
to hang the device up on a tree or on a wall
to carry the device when you turn on the LED for a lighting in the night or in a dark zone.
