BEFORE FIRST USE OF THIS PRODUCT:

precautions and instructions provided with this product can result in property loss or damage, serious bodily injury, or death. Only persons
who can understand and follow the instructions should use this KettleCharge. Contact BioLite with any questions about safety or operation.
WARNING
DO NOT USE OVER A LARGE OPEN FIRE as this presents a risk of bodily injury and a safety hazard to the user, the product,
and to the electronics being charged.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal surfaces become extremely hot – use caution and use heat-resistant mitt or fabric to
grab handle when picking up or carrying kettle.
Do not fill the KettleCharge with water above MAX line. Overfilling may cause water to overflow which may scald the user.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. The KettleCharge is designed to work over a range of contained, controlled flames. It should
NEVER BE USED OVER A LARGE OPEN FIRE. Never place KettleCharge over a fire where flames lap
up around the product. Flames should never extend beyond the base plate (fig. 1).
2. DO NOT OPERATE KETTLE WITHOUT WATER. Heating KettleCharge without water will result in
damage of product. You must always ensure there is water at or above the "MIN fill" line to
protect the electronics inside the product.
3. The KettleCharge is intended for heating water only. Use of any other liquids or food may
damage the interior and void warranty. Do not use kettle for other than intended use.
4. DO NOT immerse the unit in water or other liquid. DO NOT wet handle or you may damage the
electronics inside the product.
5. CAUTION - Close supervision is necessary when this product is to be used with or near children.
This product should not be used by children unless supervised by an adult who has read and
understood all of the instructions for the use of the product.
6. DO NOT use or store the unit it damp or moist areas where it may come in contact with water.
Again, this may damage the electronics inside the product. Store at or below 25° C/77° F.
7. Always keep handle in upright position when in use.
