Due to the varying nature of different manufacturer's serological pipettes,
no specifications for serological pipettes, others than 25 ml are given. The
performance for 25 ml Sterilin serological pipette (factory test):

Length of the pipette (air space between the piston and liquid)
Shape of the pipette (cone)
Manufacturing technique
Material (glass/plastic, quality of the plastic)
With most serological pipettes the precision is good but there may be big
differences in accuracy. The following specifications are the guidelines
