After vacuum forming the test socket or the ThermoLyn definitive inner
socket (fig. 4), smooth the vacuum forming template by grinding it until it
is flush with the ThermoLyn material (fig. 5).
Attach the lamination dummy to the vacuum forming template using the
501T19=M5×18 Countersunk Head Screw provided (fig. 6).
For frame reinforcement, the 5Z1 Lamination Kit with the aid of the Technical
Information Booklet 2.3.5 or the 5Z4 Lamination Kit for CAT-CAM can be used.
After lamination, evenly grind off the excess lamination around the lamina-
tion dummy and remove the countersunk head screw.
Remove the socket frame and inner socket from the plaster positive.
Disassemble the screw valve and apply 617H46 Bonding Agent to the
contact surface of the lower screw ring. Position the lower screw ring.
Slightly lubricate the sealing ring of the upper screw ring with 633F11 Sili-
cone Grease. Tighten upper screw ring with attached sealing ring (fig. 8).
For tightening the lower and upper screw ring the Pin Wrench can be used.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the valve. The valve is not intended for the fixation
of the inner socket and frame socket. It has no holding function. Only
attach the valve to the test socket or to the flexible inner socket.
Grind the laminate of the socket frame in the valve area only until the
groove for the cosmetic sock on the upper screw ring lies free with the
inner socket inserted.
Put the socket frame and inner socket together and screw in the upper
valve piece.
If the valve has become dirty, remove the 21Y145 Upper valve piece using
a pin wrench. Clean the individual components and reassemble.

Flatten the plaster positive in the valve area, apply talc and pull on a
moistened 99B81 PVA Bag. Reinforce the PVA Bag in the valve area with
672B4 Polyethylene Adhesive Tape.
Remove the upper valve piece from the screw valve. Lubricate the inside of
the small screw ring with 633F11 Silicone Grease and mount the lamina-
