Insert the protector (4.3) into the fitting condenser using
the screws as included. (Fig. H)
CAUTION.
· During this operation you must be careful with the
blade of the wire cutter. You may injure yourself.
Warning:
· Never use the edge trimmer without the protector
(4.3). This is vital for your safety and that of other
persons, and for the good performance of the
cutter.
Non compliance with these safety rules is not only
dangerous but is also invalidates the guarantee terms.
2. Before using the edge trimmer, check that the nylon
thread (4.4) contacts or passes over the thread cutting
blade. The nylon thread (4.4) will be automatically cut

If the nylon thread does not reach the required length,
press the thread spool button (4.6) and make the
machine rotate without load so that the length of the
thread is adjusted automatically.
Replacement of the thread spool. (Fig. I)
Warning:
·In no case must there be added thread to the empty
spool; it must be replaced by a new one. The use of
cables having characteristics that differ from the
original ones may damage the grass cutter
permanently and as well invalidate the guarantee
terms.
3. Start slowly – when you have the acquired experience,
you will be able to use the whole potential of the lawn
trimmer. Initiate the lawn trimming process
progressively. (Fig. J)
·
Trim the lawn by moving the edge trimmer from the right
to the left and maintain the soft movement of the trimmer
inclined by about 30o.
·
When the grass is tall, it must be cut by layers, always
from the upper portion. Cuts must be short.
·
Do not cut humid or wet grass – when it is dry excellent
