Foreseen use
The tool has been designed to cut the borders of lawns or
sprouts.
1. Hold the electric tool only at the isolated gripping
surfaces as the cutting blade may contact hidden
cables. If it contacts an electric power cables, the
exposed metal portions of the electric tool may become
electrically loaded so that the operator may receive an
electric shock.
2. Keep all parts of the body away from the blade. Do
not remove cut material and do not grasp the material
you wish to cut when the blades are moving. Make
sure that the switch is switched off when removing
clogged material. One moment of distraction while
handling the hedge cutter may result in severe body
injuries.
3. Transport the hedge cutter by its handle and with the
blade stopped. When transporting or storing el hedge
cutter, you must put on the cover of the cutting
device. A correct handling of the hedge cutter reduces
the possibilities of personal injuries caused by the blades.
4. Do not use the hedge cutter in the rain or where there
is water or in very humid conditions. The electric motor is
not water proof.
5. A user being experienced in using the hedge cutter is to
show novel users how to use it.
6. The hedge cutter must not be used by children or young
persons under 18 years. Young persons over 16 years
may become excluded from this restriction if adequately
trained by an expert.
7. Use the hedge cutter only if you are in a good physical
shape. If you are tired, your level of attention becomes
reduced. Take special care at the end of a working day.
Carry out all work calmly and carefully. The user is liable
for all damages to third parties.
8. Never use the hedge cutter when under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medicaments.

9. Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the power
source are coincident with the specification as provided
on the identification plate.
10. Thick-skinned working gloves are part of hedge cutter's
basic equipment and must be used always when working
with it. Use always strong footwear with nonslip soles.
11. Before starting to work, make sure that the hedge cutter
is in a correct and safe working condition. Make sure that
the protectors are mounted correctly. You must not use
the hedge cutter if not assembled completely.
12. Make sure that you are in a well-balanced position
before starting to operate.
13. Grasp the tool firmly when using it.
14. Do not use the tool idling unnecessarily.
15. Switch off the motor immediately and remove the
battery pack when the blade contacts a fence or other
hard object. Check if the blade is damaged and, if so,
repair it immediately.
16. Before checking the blade, fixing deficiencies and
removing material trapped by the blade, you must always
switch off the hedge cutter and remove the battery pack.
17. Switch off the cutter and remove the battery pack before
any servicing work.
18. When transporting the hedge cutter to another location,
even during work, always remove the battery back. Never
transport the hedge cutter with its blade operating. Never
grasp the blade with your hands.
19. Clean the hedge cutter and specially its blade after its
use and before storing the hedge cutter for long periods of
time. Slightly oil the blade and put on the cover. The cover
as provided with the unit can be hung at the wall, which is
a practical way of storing the hedge cutter.
20. Store the hedge cutter with the cover put on in a dry
room. Keep it out of the reach of children. Never store the
hedge cutter outdoors.
