Choose the correct cone that fits into centre hole of the
wheel and place onto the main shaft of the clamping

Universal clamping means
(Sonderzubehör) not for BM 55 Touch
Some French automotive manufacturers prefer to use
rims without centre holes. We can offer as special clam-
ping means ordered from accessories (Item No. 1 987

The rim is clamped using a centering ring with special
wheel bolts to enable a secure fit.

Centering and clamping means for Quick
span machines
(only BM 55 Touch)
Quick span machines do not use a hand clamp to se-
cure the rim to the machine; instead it has a pneumatic
powered quick clamping device operated by a foot
pedal.
The complete pneumatic clamping unit is connected
to the main shaft assembly and uses the same cones to
centre the rims as with the standard machines. Other
special centring means can also be found in our pro-
gram of accessories.
