Changing the polishing brushes
Detach the polish dispenser from the holding rail by turning it a

quarter turn (Fig. 18).
Unscrew flange of the respective polishing brush with an Allen

wrench (3 mm) and pull the brush off of the axle (Fig. 19).
Slide on the new brushes in the same manner.

Fix the brush flange in place on the shaft. In this process ensure

that the fixing screws are again precisely positioned in the
respective shaft receptacle.
Remount the polishing dispenser.

Changing the pre-cleaning brush
(middle black brush)
The ring-shaped pre-cleaning brush is fastened in the press-fit
process on the motor block and must be heated for dismounting!
Run the machine continuously for 5 minutes until the motor

has warmed the brush core. Always ensure that you unplug the
power plug from the power outlet!
Remove the dark polishing brush on the right by unscrewing

the flange with an Allen wrench (3 mm) (Fig. 20).
Unscrew the pre-cleaning brush by removing the 2 screws in

the core with a slot-head screwdriver.
Pull the brush off of the motor housing to the right (Fig. 21).

The new pre-cleaning brush must also be heated prior to being

mounted. This is most easily done in an electric oven at approx.
100°C for a period of approx. 12 minutes.
Do not heat over 100°C!
Do not use hot air or convection air!
Do not leave the oven unattended!
You must wear protective gloves to remove the brush
from the oven!
After heating, slide the brush to the stop on the motor housing

Lightly tighten the two fixing screws.

Fix the dark polishing brush on the shaft and on the brush

flange. After the pre-cleaning brush completely cools, the
machine is again fully operational.
