Automatic key lockout:
If the control panel keys are not used for a period of 1 minute, the
keys are locked.
Pressing and holding the CANCEL key enables the control panel to be
unlocked
Automatic screen lock:
If there is no action on the control panel, the screen backlighting goes
out.
Press any key to switch the control panel backlighting back on
1. To switch on the water heater, press the ON/OFF key. The operating
indicator "ON" comes on.
Caution
When starting up the appliance for the first time, every indi
cator light on the display will come on for 3 seconds and
the audible signal will sound twice. If no action is taken for
1 minute, every indicator light will switch off automatically
with the exception of the filling with water and the water
temperature indicator lights. The audible alarm emits a
"beep" whenever you press one of the buttons.
2. It is necessary to press the ON/OFF key for the water filling indicator
light to stop flashing.
Note
When the ON/OFF key is pressed again, the water filling indicator
light switches off and the operating indicator light switches on
(green light).
3. Check that no error codes or messages are shown on the display.
4. Hold down the CANCEL key to unlock the keyboard.
Caution
The display locks itself automatically (LOCK mode) after one mi
nute.
Note
Water temperature display
The temperature given on the display is the one provided by the
temperature sensor. It is therefore perfectly normal that the tem
perature displayed sometimes drops when the appliance is run
ning. As the hot water in the upper section mixes with cold water
by natural convection, the temperature in the upper section is
higher than the one in the lower section.
