KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS AS A FUTURE REFERENCE
WORK AREA
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Messy workstations and dark areas can cause accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Power tools create sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.
Keep visitors, children or spectators away from the power tool while it is in operation. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Do not use the cable improperly, do not use the cable to transport the tool, keep the cable away from heat, oil,
hot surfaces, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace damaged cables immediately, a damaged cable may
cause a fire.
A tool that operates with integral batteries or with an independent battery pack must be recharged only with
the specific charger of the equipment in question. A charger created for a specific tool and that is used with
another device can generate a fire.

PERSONAL SECURITY

Stay alert Observe what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a
power tool when you are tired or under the influence of a drug, alcohol or medication. A single moment of
distraction is enough to operate in order to cause serious personal injuries.
Use the appropriate clothing. Do not use loose clothing or jewelry. Fasten your long hair. Keep long hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be trapped in moving
parts.
Avoid accidental starting of the machine. Make sure the switch is in the locked or off position before inserting
the battery pack. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or placing the battery pack in a tool with
the switch on can cause accidents.
Remove all adjustment wrenches before turning on the tool. If a key, regardless of its type, is touching a
moving part of the power tool, personal injury may occur. Do not try to get what you can not reach. Maintain
your vertical position and balance at all times. The correct position and balance allow better control of the tool
in the event of unexpected situations.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protectors. You can use a dust mask, anti-slip safety shoes, helmet
or ear protectors in order to achieve optimal working conditions.
