TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
CAMERA DOES NOT TURN
ON.
CAMERA DOES NOT
CAPTURE IMAGES /
VIDEOS.
NIGHT IMAGES ARE TOO
DARK.
ONLY PHOTOS ARE BEING
SENT, EVEN THOUGH THE
TRAIL CAMERA IS SET TO
"VIDEO" MODE.
"LOW BATTERY" IS
DISPLAYED.
PHOTOS WITHOUT
ANIMALS.
OVEREXPOSED NIGHT
IMAGES
CAMERA IS NOT SENDING
PHOTOS
AFTER CHANGING
LOCATIONS, THE CAMERA
IS NOT SENDING IMAGES
Replace the batteries with fresh ones (see chapter "INSERTING OR CHANGING
BATTERIES")
Check the batteries and change them if necessary.
Insert a freshly formatted SD card.
Check that the power saving mode is set to "ON" and replace the batteries.
In the app you will only see photos. When a video is made, a single sample
photo is sent to the app. If you want to access the videos, please retrieve the
data directly from the SD card.
The batteries are almost empty and must be changed.
Make sure that there are no branches or other objects within the sensor's
operating range that could cause faulty recordings due to movement.
Select a location to mount your camera so that it is not affected by reflective
signs and windows or the like.
Check if the data transmission has been activated in the app.
If the camera has already found a strong network, it will repeatedly attempt to
log in to establish the fastest possible connection. At a new location, this may
cause delays during the first connection setup.
You can speed this up by manually uploading one or two images. To do this,
you must perform the following actions on the trail camera: Activate SETUP
mode  OK  MENU  Send  OK
If the signal strength of your original network is too weak at the new location,
a corresponding error message will appear ("Signal strength weak").
Immediately carry out the manual transmission procedure again. In this way,
your camera learns "the hard way" that a new network is available.
