fit the nuts on the carter and tighten slightly (7/F) so
you can procede with chain tightening operations;
screw clockwise the chain tightener screw (7/G)
until the chain is tightened;
the chain is well tightened if you can pull away from
the guide bar for 3 mm and it returns on the guide
bar when you release it. With the electric chainsaw
in vertical position, the chain must be adherent to
the guide bar. The chain must run free pulling it with
your hand;
firmly tighten the chain-tightening nuts (7/H).
Drive sprocket mounting and replacement
The drive sprocket wearing is conseguence of a normal
working activity. If it must be replaced, proceed as follow:
Before mount or replace the drive sprocket, unplug
the plug from the socket. Put the electric chainsaw on
a clear and stable surface.
Follow the instructions on the section "Chain and
guide bar mounting and replacement" to remove
the guide bar and the chain;
use a clamp (better if "water pump pliers with box
joint" type to hold the sprocket (9/A);
loosen and remove the drive sprocket clamping nut
(9/B – 9/C);
if it's present, remove the washer (9/D);
remove the drive sprocket (9/E);
if it's present, remove the other washer;
clean the drive sprocket housing leaving an oil film;
proceed backwards: mounting the washer (if it's
present), the new drive sprocket (that must
perfectly fit the shaft), the other washer and the
drive sprocket clamping nut;
using the clamp, hold the drive sprocket and tight
the nut;
proceed with the guide bar and chain mounting
operations.
Chain tightess check
Ckeck the chain tightess before start to work and also during
your cutting activity.
An insufficient chain tightess involves safety risks and less
cutting precision.
An excessive chain tightess increases the friction between
the guide bar and the chain. This friction increases parts
wearings.
The chain tightess check must be stepped up when using a
new chain and therefore subject to a physiological stretch.
Your electric chainsaw has mechanical and electrical
solutions that reduce the chain stretch problem. This will not
esonerate you from periodic inspections and the need for
intervention if the chain tightess is not optimal.
To tight the chain operate on the chain tightener screw as
explained in section "Chain and guide bar mounting and
replacement".
Chain lubrication
The electric chainsaw need to operates necessary and
compulsory with a chain lubrication using chains oil.
Lubrication reduces friction between the guide bar and
chain.
It better to use always the same chain oil type to avoid
different oils mixes that can undermine the lubricant
efficiency and reduce the chain working life.
Never use waste oil, heavy oil or excessive fluid oil.
Your chainsaw is equipped with a oil reservoir that contains
chain oil and lubricates properly and automatically the chain
during the cutting activity.
Before use remove the reservoir oil cap (fig.10) and refill
with oil if necessary.
Warning: Clean the reservoir cap area before open it. Make
sure that no dirt or dust enters the oil reservoir during refill
operation.
The oil level check must be done periodically during electric
chainsaw use.
After the refill operation operate the chainsaw idle for a
while.
Fastening the work piece and size of the
work piece
if the work object is a block and not part of a
structure, fasten it in order to prevent its movement;
prevent the work piece from shifting, moving or
falling when you are cutting.
Environmental conditions
do not expose the chainsaw to rain, ice or snow;
prevent water or any other liquid from coming into
contact with the electrical parts of your machine;
do not use the chainsaw in explosive atmospheres,
for instance flammable liquids, gas or dust. The
electric chainsaw produces sparks which can ignite
fumes, dust or smoke.
Overhead cutting (ceiling cutting)
Warning: your chainsaw is NOT intended to
perform overhead cutting (upward).

After having followed the instructions given in the previous
Preliminary operations section, proceed as follows in order
to perform the
cut:
Warning: do not touch any moving parts of your
chainsaw, in particular the blade, when
Unplug the plug from the socket and check the
chain tightess;
check if the
chain brake lever is in "open" position;
