3. Use, assembly and adjustments:
• Before plugging your tool into the power outlet, check if the local power supply and your tool have the same
voltage. Check if the tool is in good conditions by performing a quick visual inspection. If any abnormality is
found, immediately suspend the use and contact the nearest Schulz authorized dealer for repair;
• To turn the tool on press the on/off button (1). For continuous use press the lock-on button (2) to keep the tool
operating. Press the on/off button to unlock;
ATTENTION
power cord must be unplugged from the power outlet and the blade must be stopped.
4. Installing and removing the cutting blade (fi gure 7.1):
• Place the blade on the backing fl ange (8);
• Tighten the fl ange nut fi rmly with the wrench (9) and, simultaneously, turn the socket tool (7) anti-clockwise;
• Make sure the bolt is fi rmly installed;
• Use only the recommended blade, in correct diameter and thickness;
• To remove the disc, do the aforementioned procedure backwards; Adjusting the cutting depth:
• To increase or reduce the cutting depth, loosen the bolt to adjust the cutting depth (11) by turning it anti-
-clockwise;
• When the desired depth is reached, fi x the base by turning it clockwise;
• The user can put the depth scale in the desired position at any moment;
• Make sure the bolt to adjust the cutting depth (11) is properly fi xed before using the tool.
5. Cutting:
• Align the front part of the tool with the cut line on the workpiece. Hold the tool fi rmly.
• Place the tool base on the workpiece without the blade touching it.
• Turn on the tool and wait for the blade to achieve full speed.
• Move the tool forward smoothly on the surface of the material until the cut is fi nished. The cut line must be
continuous.
• This tool must be used only in horizontal surfaces.
• Move the tool smoothly in a straight line. Forcing, excessively pressing or letting the blade bend or get stuck
in the cut might cause the motor to overheat and make the tool jolt dangerously.
• For cutting deeper than 20 mm, make 2 or more notches to prevent the motor from bogging down.
For assembly and disassembly adjustments, the tool must be always turned off, the
