This electric appliance is radio suppressed in compli-
ance with EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.
This electric appliance is designed for vacuum clean-
ing dust and small amounts of water in accordance with
the safety requirements and operating instructions de-
scribed herewith.
This electric appliance features water filtration and shall
be used ONLY if the necessary amount of water has
been added in the tank.
PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION
▪ Make sure power supply voltage corresponds to the
value indicated on the name plate with technical data
of the appliance.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in order. If the
replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has
to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order
to avoid a safety hazard.
▪ Read and follow "Safety instructions for vacuum
cleaners".
VACUUM CLEANING
WARNING: Never vacuum up hazardous ma-
terials.
Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
1. Loosen the clamps, remove the cover and the baffle
plate.
2. Pour approximately 2.5 l clean cold water into the
tank. Water level shall be between the MIN and
MAX marks. (Fig.7)
WARNING: Do not operate the vacuum
cleaner without water in the tank (or if the water level is
below the MIN mark).
If the water level falls below the MIN mark during
operation, switch off the appliance and add water.
ATTENTION: Do not add water while the appliance
is in use.
If the water level reaches or surpasses the MAX
mark or if the water thickens due to pollution, switch
off the appliance, empty the tank, refill with clean
water and continue operation.
3. Place the baffle plate and the cover on the tank and
fasten the clamps.
4. Insert the hose into the tank inlet hose connection.
5. Select an appropriate nozzle and/or tube and attach
them to the hose (11).
ATTENTION: Use the telescopic tube (12) and the
combo brush (13) for dry vacuum cleaning only. Do
not use them for suction of liquids.
Use the accessories according their intended purpose
(refer to the enclosed table).

WARNING: Use only original SPARKY ac-

6. Ensure that the appliance ON/OFF switch (2) is
turned off in "O" position before inserting the cord
plug into the socket.
7. Plug the cord into the socket.
8. To start the motor shift the ON/OFF switch (2) in "I"
position.
9. Adjust the suction power using the handle slider.

10. When you have finished cleaning, turn off the
vacuum cleaner by placing the ON/OFF switch (2)
in off position "O".
11. Unplug the cord and coil it on the cord reel (3).
12. Empty and clean the tank (8).
Maintenance
▪ Always switch off and unplug the appliance prior to
any service or maintenance.
CLEANING THE HEPA FILTER
▪ HEPA filter cleanness shall be checked regularly. Re-
move and rinse with lukewarm water if necessary. Dry
the filter before reinstalling.
▪ With time this filter loses its performance and must be
replaced.
CLEANING THE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE
▪ Take out the hose (11) from the tank.
▪ Release the clamps and remove the tank cover.
▪ Remove the baffle plate with pipe, rinse and dry them.
▪ Empty the tank into an appropriate vessel or sewage.
▪ Wash the tank with water and dry it with a dry cloth.
▪ Check the hose and coupling openings.
▪ Inspect the cord for damage.
WARNING: Never use alcohol, petrol or other
cleaning agent. Never use caustic agents to clean
plastic parts.
WARNING: Water must never come into con-
tact with the electric appliance.
