APPLIANCE LOCATION
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance
between each side of the device and the wall or other
objects. The device should always be used when positioned
on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and
be out of the reach of children and persons with limited
mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that
you always have access to the power plug. The power cord
connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product
label.
ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE
SBS-LHM-1000/DH
Before starting to use the device, install the temperature
probe correctly.
a)
Screw the probe support rod elements together.
b)
Position the rod in the opening on the housing of the
device. The spline in the opening should fit into the
groove at the bottom of the rod.
c)
Fit the adjusting element and tighten the clamping
knob.
d)
Place the probe clamp into the adjusting element
and tighten the clamping knob.
e)
Place the probe in the clamp and make sure it is

3.3. DEVICE USE
a)
Pour the liquid into the container and insert the
magnetic stirrer into the liquid.
b)
Place the container with the liquid inside the heating
mantle chamber.
For the SBS-LHM-1000/DH model, insert the end of
temperature probe into the liquid to a depth of at
least 20 mm.
When using a metal container, do not place
temperature probe on the bottom of the container.
Placing the temperature probe on the bottom of the
container may result in an incorrect measurement
reading. The end of the measuring probe must be
at least 5 mm from the bottom of the container; a
distance of 10 mm is the best.
c)
Plug the power cord into the device and into the
electrical outlet.
d)
Activate stirring with the knob [I]. When the stirring is
active, the stirring indicator lamp lights up.
CAUTION! Do not set the stirring speed to high from
the start. Increase the stirring speed gradually.
Depending on the model:
