To ensure your coffee maker continues to make perfect coffee, you should occasionally de-scale the
mineral residue left by water using a de-scaling product specifically formulated for coffee maker. The
frequency of this operation will depend on the hardness of the water in your area and on how often you
use your coffee maker.
If you use it once or twice a day, use the following as a guide:
Soft water: every 6 months.
Mid-hard water: every 2 or 3 months.
Very hard water: every 6 or 8 weeks.

The mains voltage must match the rated voltage listed on the label on the base of the coffee maker.
- Use only cold water.

Do not allow the power cord to touch the warm-plate .

When making coffee again right away , turn the coffee maker off and let it cool down for 5 minutes.
Then fill it again with cold water .

The coffee in the carafe will be kept warm while the coffee maker is on.

To turn the coffee maker off, use the power switch. The pilot lamp will turn off, indicating that the
