5.4) Pressing jaw inspection
Before use, check the pressing jaws for any wear on the inner part of the
pressing area.
Do not use damaged pressing jaws. Failure to comply
with this warning may lead to serious physical injury.
Using worn pressing jaws can lead to non-compliant
pressing operations and subsequent problems with the
watertightness of the joint seals.
Clean the surface with a clean cloth, taking care to remove any dirt residue,
especially on the inner part of the pressing area. Grease the rotation pin
(Fig. o) and the jaw springs regularly with a few drops of oil.
The pressing jaws suffer wear if used frequently.
In addition to the usual checks and tool maintenance, we
recommend that the pressing jaws are sent to Press fi t for a full
inspection.
5.5) Computer connection (PUMA-RR and LYNX-RR only)
The tool's integrated electronic card records the work cycle parameters
for 200,000 completed cycles for transfer to a computer using the USB
cable provided. To view and manage the data, requires installation of the
software available in the dedicated area of www.pressfi t.com.
Firmware updates should also be installed to obtain maximum tool ef-
fi ciency and guarantee the best performance.
5.6) Support
For information on the nearest approved support centre, consult the
website www.pressfi t.com.
Repairs must be undertaken by qualifi ed technicians
only, using original spare parts.
Failure to do so places the operator at risk of serious harm.
5.7) Retourn to Press fi t for inspection
In the event of damage or failure, contact our Local Agent for advice and
information on how sending the tool to our headquarters fi ll in and attach
the form available in the "Customer Service " section of the Press fi t website.
6. DISPOSAL
Recycle responsibly all electrical tools, rechargeable bat-
teries, accessories and packaging that can no longer be
used.

The owner of a product disposed of illegally will be subject to administra-
tive sanctions.
Batteries precautions
Always recycle batteries after use.
Never dispose of batteries with household waste; they must
be deposited at the dedicated collection points for disposal.
Transporting batteries
Lithium ion rechargeable batteries are subject to the legal requirements
on hazardous goods. In the event of road transport by the user, no further
precautions are necessary.
In the event of third-party transport (e.g. air transport or courier),
transportation must comply with the special requirements concerning
packaging and labelling.
We recommend that you consult an expert.
Rechargeable batteries can only be transported if undamaged.
The packaging must prevent the batteries from moving around and exposed
contacts must be covered with adhesive tape.
