NB: the operating procedures and configurations are the subject of a short résumé: the
instruction mini-guide supplied with the clamp
SWITCHING ON: Measurement of currents or voltages
By selecting the main function (V AC, A AC, V DC or A AC) with the switch, the clamp is
switched On, all the symbols appear for approx. 0.5s on the display. Clamp-on or connect up
and read the current or the voltage.
NB: The initial configuration of the clamp is: auto Off - buzzer On - AC + DC mode -
measurement of all the harmonics, in relative value (%) on the main display - time Off.
This configuration can be modified, by pressing one of the function buttons when
switching On (see Configuration chapter).

OFF: MANUAL OFF

Resetting to the OFF position switches Off the clamp but maintains the configuration which
may have been selected.

AUTO OFF

The clamp switches OFF automatically after 10 minutes of operation in the following
conditions:
- buttons not pressed
- selector switch not turned
- permanent operation off
The purpose of this function is to economise the battery, when you forget to reset to the OFF
position after measurements.
The clamp emits six short beeps before " going to sleep ". Press any button and the clamp
" wakes up " in the previously selected configuration; the function of this " wake up " button
is in this case not taken into account.
NB: The switch also makes it possible to " wake up " the clamp, but it manages the main
functions and any action thus causes the loss of the previously selected function.
