2) Position the waist cushion, with the anatomically shaped end forward, on the hip for the
affected arm (see fig. 5).
3) Adjust and close the hook-and-loop closures on the forearm and thumb (see fig. 5).
4) Place the shoulder harness diagonally over the shoulder and adjust it.
5) Adjust and close the waist belt (see fig. 6).
6) Optional: Shorten the belt.
7) Bring the shoulder pad in the desired position.
INFORMATION
To set the desired internal and external rotation position of the shoulder orthosis, slide the
abduction cushion along the hip.
5 Cleaning

Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.

INFORMATION
To clean the 50A9, remove the foam cushion from the cover and only wash the cover.
1) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
3) Wash the orthosis in warm water at 30°C with standard mild detergent. Do not use fabric
softener. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
